Mayhem at Midnight -edited-Prologue The scorching fire ripped through her veins like an incurable poison. The young adult amazingly had enough will to think one thought. 'Is this what it feels like to die? Is this what it feels like to be burnt to death?' The blackness that was blocking the corners of her vision sucked in closer to the center. The fiery poison continued to seep through her body. It was as if she could feel it trickle through her neck, into her arms, and down into her legs.
